YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:

 

 

Being responsible for coordination and support for the technical implementation and monitoring ofof PDDs/IDDs focused on agriculture (carbon soil) & REDD+ and forest carbon activities in project sites throughout Latam, monitoring on-the-ground performance, coordinate and ensure achievement of project results and objectives.

  • Support the operational development of feasibilities studies focused on assess the viability of a carbon project to create a certified carbon asset (ie: Offset, Scope 3 Inventory Reporting, Value Chain Interventions, Product Labels, Narrative Claims) targeting nature-based solutions
  • Support in the operational development of the Project Design Documentation (PDD) or Intervention Design Document (IDD) and other supporting documents needed to assure efficient project certification
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the processes needed for successful project development (e.g. data collection, soil sampling and monitoring/annual reporting)
  • Assist in the processes that is going to guarantee the credit issuance on registry (public consultation process, project validation/registration and project verification)
  • Support in country agronomic, marketing and sales teams with specific project development knowledge
  • Timely preparation and submission of reports and other deliverables

 

 

 

ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?

 

 

  • Excellent communication & influencing skills; Ability to set clear objectives and tracking execution; Ability to lead change and hold ambiguity; Ability to build a culture of innovation; Manage performance and develop people across functional boundaries
  • Minimum of a Bachelor degree. Masters preferred (agronomy, engineering, business, marketing or related field preferred);
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously;
  • Has experience on working with nature based solution projects or reed+ projects
  • Preferred experience in working with different methodologies and protocols recognized by the global standards
  • Demonstrated and proven record to work in a multidisciplinary team under changeable and complex circumstances.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills;
  • Creative problem-solver, positive can-do attitude, personally mature, organizationally sensitive, intellectually, capable, and assertive
  • Agile skills and mindset
  • Team spirit
  • Field experience is a differential.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English
  • Spanish are desirable.
